		<description>Beauty pageants are a huge peeve of mine, whether adult or child oriented. Any contest that focuses solely on outward beauty, whether painted on or inherited, is seriously flawed. It may teach poise and how to work a stage, which I can understand would give a girl confidence for public speaking, etc. But putting confidence in your looks is totally the wrong message because looks don't last! I don't care who you are. What happens when you lose your looks? Are you then no longer confident? Beauty pageants are just wrong, wrong, wrong - on so many levels.</description>
